Established in 2018, the 5 Pearlz of Hope Foundation, Incorporated (5POH) serves as the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. – Mu Delta Zeta Chapter.

Through scholarships, readiness programs, and community-based initiatives, the Foundation uplifts education, supports youth and families, and addresses pressing needs across the Killeen, Temple, and Fort Hood area.

A Mission That Reaches Beyond Scholarships

While scholarships are a cornerstone, the Foundation’s work extends far wider. Their programs are designed to raise the quality of life for individuals and families, equipping young people for success and responding to the challenges faced in Central Texas communities.

How 5POH Serves the Greater Killeen/Fort Hood area:

  • Champion education with scholarships, stipends, and career-readiness support.
  • Tackle barriers to learning by addressing food insecurity and basic needs in schools.
  • Provide vital resources such as personal and academic kits for students in foster care or experiencing homelessness.
  • Engage the community through awareness on health and social issues affecting daily life.
  • Offer support to families and elders through partnerships and local initiatives.

  • $94,000 invested in local high school students

Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating seniors in the Killeen–Fort Hood area. These opportunities not only ease the cost of higher education but also affirm the potential of local students.
