Membership

Mu Delta Zeta Chapter is proud to have over 130 women committed to Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Since earning our Charter in 1983, we’ve continued to grow stronger — reclaiming Sorors, welcoming transfers, and supporting new members who are ready to carry Zeta’s legacy forward.

Why Membership Matters

Becoming (or returning as) a Zeta is more than wearing our letters — it’s about living them.

  • Connection: Sisterhood circles, mentorship, and member care initiatives ensure every Soror feels valued.
  • Purpose: From March of Dimes to local partnerships with NPHC, NAACP, and community organizations, our members are on the frontlines of service.
  • Growth: Leadership development, workshops, and opportunities to serve help Sorors sharpen their skills and deepen their impact.

Our Impact Together

  • 14 Sorors reclaimed in the last two years — reconnecting with the work and love of Zeta.
  • $20,000+ raised through March of Dimes, including hosting the inaugural Killeen March for Babies.
  • Partnerships strengthened with schools, businesses, and community organizations across Killeen and Fort Hood.
  • Signature programs expanded in health justice, social justice, and education — ensuring Zeta’s presence is felt wherever we serve.

Our Membership Focus

Currently, the chapter’s membership work is guided by the following key priorities:

  • Reclamation – Zeta is Forever
Creating intentional spaces for Sorors to return home and thrive.
  • Retention – Keep Your Blue Flame Lit
Ensuring current members feel supported, recognized, and connected.
  • Embellishment – Elevate Our Legacy
Strengthening our chapter identity and visibility while honoring Zeta traditions.
  • Intake – Future Zeta Ready
Centering our commitment to welcome the next generation in excellence, care, and camaraderie.
