Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated

Service with Purpose, Programs with Impact

In the early 2000s, our 22nd International President, Barbara C. Moore introduced Z-HOPE — Zetas Helping Other People Excel — a national initiative designed to unify Zeta service under one clear vision. For Mu Delta Zeta, Z-HOPE continues to be the heartbeat of our programming. It shapes the way we design initiatives in education, health, and civic engagement, ensuring our service is both intentional and impactful.

From scholarships and youth mentoring to health partnerships and community advocacy, our programs are how we bring Zeta principles to life in the Greater Killeen/Fort Hood area.

Supporting healthy pregnancies and babies. Our chapter proudly celebrates a more than 50-year National Partnership with March of Dimes through prematurity awareness programming throughout the year. We serve as the local host for the March for Babies walk and support other awareness initiatives that strengthen families in our community.

Mentorship, scholarship, service, sisterhood, and finer womanhood for young women. Mu Delta Zeta proudly sponsors Pearlettes, Amicettes, and Archonettes — youth auxiliaries that nurture leadership, service, and personal growth.

Investing in future leaders through education. Each year, Mu Delta Zeta Chapter and the 5 Pearlz of Hope Foundation open scholarship opportunities for high school seniors in the Greater Killeen/Fort Hood area. With several awards available, there may be one that’s a good fit for you.
